Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancé rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill—even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day—and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business.

Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time.

What could possibly go wrong?

My Review:

Don't Bite the Bridesmaid is a fun and cute read...

I absolutely love this book, it's definitely different from any other vampire books that I've read so far. Tiffany Allee does a very good job describing the characters and the setting. It all evolves around Alice Shepard, whose sister is getting married and needs a date to accompany her for a week on a cruise shipwith her family. But what she doesn't know is that her mysterious/hot neighbor is a vampire and needs a quick getaway. Noah Thorpe was immediately enchanted by his neighbor, Alice, and her proposition couldn't have come at a better time. He needs to leave before the others find him and force him to marry someone that he doesn't like or love.

A week at a cruise full of humans wasn't his best pick, but Alice didn't give him a choice and that's how the two of them embarked into an adventure, full of fun and secrets. As the two of them start to get closer, it also get harder for Noah to keep his identity a secret if Alice keeps tempting him. The story line started great from the very beginning, I loved how the two of them interacted with each other. Alice is shy, but she knows how to hold herself when surrounded by things that she doesn't like. On the other hand, Noah is the gorgeous vampire that has been through a lot of events in his life that have made him reserved and serious. Putting these two different characters together made the whole story a lot more enjoyable to read. Overall, the story flowed beautifully and the ending was great. There were a few parts that felt too rushed for me, but the ending made everything better. I would have liked to see an epilogue the story though. I would recommend anyone to try this book, it's fun and romantic.

My Rating: 4.5/5
